Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, we are unable to bring you our usual programme of activity for Northumberland Day 2020. However, what we do have are some competitions and a special image for you to share on social media. Head to our 2020 Zone page to find these. You will also find two education packs on our Education page, which you can use with your children whilst home schooling or just wanting to know more about Northumberland.

Beadnell Puts on a Show for Northumberland Day
26th May 2019 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 pm

Beadnell village, last year’s winner of the Northumbie Award for Best Community Event, will be celebrating Northumberland Day in particularly glorious fashion. The event will run for hours, with miles of red and yellow bunting to celebrate the county day. The programme is as follows:
9am – car boot sale on The Bullring
12 noon – hog roast at The Craster Arms, where live music will play all day
2.30pm – fun dog show on The Bullring
5.30pm – raising of the Northumberland flag and parade of Northumbrian pipers through the village to the Craster Arms
6pm – raffle draw at the Craster Arms, with high-value Northumberland prizes
Additionally there will be:
- Refreshments and exhibition of ‘Ganzees’ and profit mats in the the WI Hall
- Historical exhibition with poppy display, local history displays and work by the Phil Russell Art Group in St Ebba’s Church
