Launch of New Mead: a Taste of Northumbria

There will be fire in the blood – or is that Blød – when the 2018 Northumbie winners of ‘Best Foodie Event or Initiative’, a Taste of Northumbria, make Northumberland Day the launch of their brand-new mead – the culmination of a series of exciting and enticing food launches that they are staging in the week leading up to Northumberland Day.
The new mead will call upon Viking tradition and celebrate the landing of the first Vikings in Northumberland. This new mead will sport a magnificent label and will be infused with irresistible berry flavours.
Mead is an integral part of Northumberland’s heritage and we could not be prouder that a Taste of Northumbria is launching its new mead, especially for us, on Northumberland Day 2019.
