Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, we are unable to bring you our usual programme of activity for Northumberland Day 2020. However, what we do have are some competitions and a special image for you to share on social media. Head to our 2020 Zone page to find these. Newbiggin-by-the-Sea Dog Show

Newbiggin-by-the-Sea will be welcoming four-legged friends and their owners on Northumberland Day, hosting them at the annual dog show organised by Newbiggin Traders’ Association.
The Piazza Square will be full of all manner of breeds, as they compete to win the honours in various categories – Best Pup, Best Adult, Scruffiest Dog, Best Fancy Dress and Waggiest Tail. Entrance is via registration at Gifted by the Sea, between 11am and 11.30am, for a small entry fee of 50p per category. The dog show will run between 11am and 3.30pm.
The event will also feature stalls and shows, with live music from 11-12 noon and local band and singers from the community entertaining the crowds between 3pm and 5pm.
