May 26 @ 10:00 am - October 31 @ 4:00 pm£5
Museums Northumberland presents ‘Northumberland Folk’, a series of four new exhibitions by illustrator Jonny Hannah. Discover some of Northumberland’s strangest stories and most absorbing characters through Jonny’s extraordinary paintings and prints.
The exhibition will introduce lesser-known folk tales and curious customs, past and present, real and imagined, with tours at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
The vast array of Northumbrian stories you will see illustrated in the exhibitions have been drawn from our museum collections, inspired by our heritage buildings and contributed to the project by members of our communities.
