The sell-out, fans' favourite music event - Ashington Rocks - is set to return for the third time, to celebrate this year's Northumberland Day! Calmer Therapy, an additional need and disabilities group, has created two wonderful Northumberland Day events for children that are open to all and fully inclusive. One event will be for children aged over 8 years and will be a step-by-step instructed art class that will have children accomplishing something special - creating a picture of Bamburgh beach using sand. The annual Rothbury Street Fair will take place the day after Northumberland Day, on May 27th, when all the festivities will take over the high street in the lovely Northumberland town of Rothbury. There will be a mass of things to do for families, from bungee jump, go-karts and giant water balls, to tapping the feet to the music of local bands, a brand new dog show, and stalls full of arts and crafts items, clothing and delicious street food.

A church fete will be held in Ingram Village Hall on Monday May 27, allowing visitors to browse stalls carrying everything from homemade produce to plants. There will be a tombola and raffle, games for all the family and delicious tea and cakes. Everyone is welcome, so discover what life is like in Ingram Village this Northumberland Day weekend. As its celebration of Northumberland Day 2019, Headway Arts is staging a free Creative Cafe featuring local artist Sheila Biggs. We have created a brilliant Northumberland Day Pub Quiz. So, brush up on your Northumberfacts, sharpen your wits and join us on Northumberland Day itself, Sunday 24th May at 6.00pm online.
