

The Northumberland Day 2019 PR campaign has become the most nominated campaign at the CIPR PRide Awards NW 2019, being shortlisted in four different categories.
The campaign devised and delivered by Northumberland Day organiser and MD of Catapult PR, Jane Hunt, is shortlisted for the honours in the: Community Relations PR; Arts, Sport or Leisure PR; Use of Social Media and Not-for-Profit categories.
Additionally, Jane Hunt, is the only finalist for Best Freelance PR Practitioner.
Previous Northumberland Day campaigns have won big at awards, with the 2017 campaign scooping the most prestigious award in the PR industry – a CIPR Excellence Award – in May 2018, when it was announced as the best tourism campaign in the UK.
It also won three other awards, scooping a CIM Northern Award for best B2C Campaign, a CIPR PRide Award for Best Community PR Campaign and a Northern Marketing Award for Best Tourism PR Campaign.
The 2018 campaign won a Silver Award at the CIPR PRide Awards 2018, for Cultural, Arts or Sport Campaign.
The 2017 and 2018 campaigns between them have been finalists for more than 20 awards.
The results of the latest awards shortlistings will be known on November 29.
